Crane Lake 2010 Camps

Session #1

Paddling in the Great Outdoors
Dates: July 4 – 16, 2010
Cost: $750

Our first campers of the summer will spend two weeks learning how to paddle with skill and broadening their knowledge on this age old mode of transportation. We will also have opportunity to take on some construction projects as well as do lots of fishing and swimming. The session will end with a three day canoe trip to use their newly acquired canoeing skills.

 

Session #2

Surviving and Thriving in the Wilderness
Dates: July 18 – 30, 2010
Cost: $750

Experience living in the outdoors and learn the skills necessary to survive and thrive! We will be spending these two weeks learning how to read a map, build our own structure, and cooking over a fire, to name a few. To top it all off, the session will end with a three day canoe trip!

 

Session #3

Discovering the World of Nature
Dates: August 3 – 15, 2010
Cost: $750

The final session of camp will be give campers the opportunity to study the plant and wildlife native to the Muskoka area. Every day offers an exciting opportunity to spot deer, moose, and other animals that roam the woods surrounding Crane Lake. Take part in a construction project using materials from the woods and experience lots of fishing, swimming, and canoeing. It all wraps up with a three day canoe trip!
