Our Program

Crane Lake Discovery Camp offers two-week sessions for male youth between the ages of 12-17. Each of the three available sessions focuses on a different theme but all end the same way – with a three day canoe trip down Crane Lake and beyond.

Campers are placed into groups of eight, with a maximum of two groups (sixteen campers) per session. With two counsellors per group and a variety of additional leadership and support staff, the ratio of staff to campers is usually 1:2.

Crane Lake is a camp for people who need camp. Bursaries are available for families who require financial assistance, and our application and interview process helps to ensure each session is filled with campers who could benefit from two weeks where their needs and issues are given priority attention.
